Champions of the Classroom: Presented by TaxSlayer
Every year, TaxSlayer hosts the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl. In 2025, the Gator Bowl team started a charity called Champions of the Classroom, where they awarded teachers in the Augusta, GA, and Jacksonville, FL areas with a $500 stipend to purchase supplies for their classroom. They asked for a custom logo to put on their marketing materials.
Sketches
I started with unrefined sketches in black and white to get a feel for different types of shapes and forms of the logo. The goal was to capture both K-12 teaching and the collegiate football feel of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.
